Asher Karnes has been working in the restaurant industry for over twenty years. After completing his graduate work in business management at the University of Massachusetts, leading the bar teams of many high profile restaurants in Boston, and consulting for Bacardi Brands USA during their recent launch of Bombay Sapphire East, Asher took on the role of Mixologist for Starwood Hotel and Resorts' billion dollar project, The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort. Asher is currently the assistant general manager of The Live Oak Music Hall in Fort Worth, Texas and has been pivotal it the business' revival.
Behind the bar, Asher has utilized his diverse culinary background to develop a unique repertoire of cocktails as well as his own spin on the classics. Asher takes inspiration from his extensive travels through the exotic cocktail cultures of Brazil, India, Thailand, and Europe.
In addition to his graduate work in business management, Asher has worked in the IT industry as a project manager and business process consultant with a focus on team building.
